Adsense is really easy to put on your webpages and the ads are site targeted ie if your site is about eggs, then the ads displayed on your site will be about eggs and related stuff

You can apply to Yahoo Publisher Network http://publisher.yahoo.com-- but it is still in beta and accepts only US publishers. And they take their sweet time approving applications with some even as long as 6 months
