  1. Try www.wheresmolly.net

  2. Try registering on www.adoption.com.

Aside from doing your own online searching, you can hire a search agency but that's costly.

    Good luck!

  3. contact the agency or attorney you used for the first adoption.  See if they can find out the information on a sibling who was also adopted or is available for adoption.  (not sure of your situation from your question)

If you're an adoptee looking for your siblings, you might also be able to retain a private investigator to find the information for you.  Contact several and choose the one who can do what you need and will have reasonable fees.

  4. You would look for a sibling the same way as an adoptee would search.  Get all the information you know. Ask the parent/adoptive parent for whatever information is available.   Unfortunately, as a sibling, you are not able to get the non-identifying information.  Get your information listed on all the search sites.  There are also search angels online available in certain states (I know Texas has several).  They typically work for nothing.

  5. A private detective would be your best way.  But, check them out first and be prepared to spend a little money.  Don't get stuck with one of these on-line groups.  Most are not reliable.

  6. You can try the Adoption Registry of your state.  You pay a small fee, usually about $15, and register.  Then if your sibling is also wanting to be located, they will put you in touch with each other.

Also, you can go through Tina's Adoption Search online.  This is a reputable search website that has been around for a long time.  They will show you all the free places to search, as well as how to get a searcher to work with you, and search on your own.

    Good luck!!
