Does anyone know if Aloe vera helps with acne?

I have some acne on my chest and trying so hard to get rid of it. I recently heard of aloe vera. Anyone know?

I've only heard of aloe for healing as in wounds or sunburn, I don't believe it has any astringent in it to dry out the acne.

Don't use it for acne, it will not work. Talk to your doctor and get a prescription if it is really bad. Aloe helps with the healing of burns because it cools and soothes but it does have a tendency to leave a scar where the cut/burn was.

It actually depends on how pure of acne you are talking. 90% or higher can help quite a bit but when you get lower than that you start to get the additional ingredients which can clog pores and such,
