Does anyone know if Comcast checks your credit before they hire you, and if so what is grounds for denial?

I got offered a position at Comcast and had to take my pee test (which will be fine) and a background check.... I know they check DMV and criminal history but do they also check credit? If so I went BK about 6 months ago... is this grounds for denial of employment?

I do work for a company who background checks for Comcast, Time Warner, Cox, etc. and yes, they do a credit check.  Whether or not the bankruptcy will prevent you from getting a job is up to Comcast.

It depends on what your job will be at Comcast.
