...my car blows hot air and it doesnt matter which buttons I push ,the air-conditioner seems to be stuck or plain screwed up.

My American friend suggested that product as I cant afford to visit an Auto Mechanic.....

  1. first, why don't you try cleaning the controls really good

with like ear buds and rubbing alcohol

maybe you just got a bit of gunk behind the switches?

don't think you can buy it~

    better call your local garage

plus depending on the year/model of your car

you probably wouldn't be able to do it yourself anyway,

it's isn't like changing the oil,

    that stuff is hazardous

I've been in Repco and never seen it

but maybe give your local store a ring

if nothing else try 4/40 ac

    4 windows down at 40km

    good luck

    =)

  2. Go to an Auto Electrician - you air con gas may need refilling - not sure how much in NZ but should be around the same in Aussie - they charge (where I live anyhow) about $85.   Lets hope it is just that and the actually compressor is not stuffed.

    Good Luck

  3. NZ ratified the Montreal Protocol and Freons are banned here.  But alternatives such as hydrocarbons are available.  A refrigeration engineer should be able to help you.
