  1. If your ticket allows changes to be made, you'll be able to do so; however, note that there will likely be a fee charged to make the change (especially on nonrefundable tickets).  You'll also be liable for any fare difference on the ticket.

Depending on your destination, any changes to the ticket could be several hundred dollars or more, given that you are looking to travel only a couple of days from now.

  2. It depends on where your mom has purchased the air ticket from.

    - If it is from a travel agent, you would need to approach the travel agent to ask on this. they would have more information on whether your ticket can be exchanged. A fee might be charged.

    - If the flight ticket is purchased directly from the airlines via the counter, internet etc, you would need to check with the airlines directly. A fee will be charged which as stated by the previous person $75 - $100.

I am not sure whether your ticket is e-ticket or paper ticket but... If yours is a paper ticket, you might need to re-issue the ticket or re-validate the ticket with a sticker by the travel agent/airline. If it is e-ticket, it shouldn't create a lot of problems for you. Reconfirm with the travel agent/airline...

  3. You'd have to pay a ticket change fee of about $75-100. And you have to call the airline to set this up.

  4. If the airlane have opened seat  ofcourse  you can change the ticket.
