simply plug in your location, starting point, and what time(s) you wish to arrive at your destination...hit ENTER and extremely detailed instructions will pop up, such as...

goto NW corner of Venice & Motor, catch bus 455 S at 3:55pm....blah blah blah...

It's very useful...and includes Metro options where available if you wish to include in.

Take the MTA buses, they run quite often.

Metro also offers  day pass for $5.00,weekly passes

for $17, monthly passes for about 62 and EZ passes

(good on ALL transit systems in Los Angeles county)

for $72-

Long beach transit also have day passes as well

(as does Santa Monica)
