Please help. I am 15-years-old and I live in Florida. I am trying to get to Pennsylvania to see my boyfriend. But I don't know if I am allowed to ride alone. My mom won't come with me so I have no choice.

Also, does anyone know the close of it? Just a regular ticket, one way

  1. When I lived in the Middle East, I travelled back home to see my grandparents a lot. I did that since I was about 8. At first I had a flight attendant accomodate me till I was about 10 or 11.

    You can do it too!

  2. yes. my brother has been traveling by himself since he was 5. but just to be sure... check with ur airlines!

  3. varies by airline. check their website under "unaccompanied minor"

heres a link to find airfare just type in the specs:

  4. on AA if you are 15 you can travel alone with no paperwork or anything else. however, SOMEONE is going to ask about why you are 15 and by yourself, so you better get your story straight before you get there. Is your boyfriend an older man by any chance? Maybe your mom knows best....you better really think this through, because no boy/man with good intentions would EVER ask a 15 year old girl to go across the country w/o her moms help....SERIOUSLY!

  5. Of course you can go alone.  Kids half you age go alone.  We can't tell you how much it would cost because it depends on which airline you take, how far in advance you buy your ticket, even what day of the week you travel.  Look the number up in the phone book and call the airline you want to go on and ask.

One question: why are you getting a one way ticket?  Don't you plan on going back home?

  6. .

    hope this helps
