have plans to go to Lake Tahoe and Reno this weekend and was tinking is it SAFE to drive and is it even CLOSED?

  1. It is or defintely will be opened by the week-end.  No more fronts are expected to move in after a weak one on Thursday.  You can call caltrans or look on the web site for california.gov and follow the links for all info on roads and conditions.

  3. check the website previously provided, but in my experience, you should be absolutely fine this weekend.  Roads will be clear and the snow in Tahoe will be awesome.  Go enjoy yourself!
