Does anyone know if Jeep might make a hybrid Compass any time soon?

I've seen that Chrysler is making some other hybrids (Dodge Durango I believe is one of them) and I thought that the Compass would seem like an obvious choice for a hybrid version.

I strongly believe that in the next there years you will see alot more hybrid cars and within the next ten self generated electric bikes and scooters cars that travel at normal speeds

Wait...they finally broke their own rules and made a truck that is based on a car frame and NOW you want them to make a hybrid?!!  Sheesh...there isn't any pleasing some people...

There have been no announcements, and I doubt there will be. The platform your car sits on is pretty low volume... so there wouldn't be a whole lot of incentive to develop a Hybrid system for it.

The one you're thinking of it a full size system designed for large SUVs and performance cars. There's no way it would fit in a Compass.

They are extremely expensive to develop, and Chrysler is really strapped for cash. They had to team up with GM and BMW to be able to afford the one they are getting.

Just enjoy the good fuel economy your 2.4 world engine produces.

2008 and 2009 there are to be less hybrids .

they break down more often are there are less repair shop that sre willing to mwork on them
