Does anyone know if Lance Berkmen is a free agent after the 2008 season?

a friend asked me today this question and i didnt know if the Astroes signed him to long term deal or not after this year?

  1. I think he is signed long term, but even if he isnt right now, he is not going anywhere, he loves houston and the astros and they love him


  2. He's Signed Until 2010 with a Club Option for 2011.

    There's probably less then 1 percent he leaves Houston.

    He's made it clear he loves it here. He was raised in the Houston Area.

    Plus he has a No-Trade Clause.

    Don't Worry He Will Most Likely Retire an Astro.
