Does anyone know if Paris has the same plugs as Italy?

Does anyone know if Paris has the same plugs as Italy... I know they run off the same power- but are the plug "prongs" the same?

  2. No the Italian plugs are different than most of Europe. They use the kind with three pins in a row. Some places have outlets that fit though. Call the hotel and ask.

  3. Not the same Spags89 is 100 % right, uk does not have the same either, Holland and Belgium as well as Portugal and Spain do

  6. Yes they do.  Most of Western Europe uses the same.

  7. No the plugs aren't the same.

    In France the outlets are round with two horizontal holes.

    In Italy they are rectangular with 3 vertical holes.

    Any flat plug with 2 stems can be used in France and Italy.

    The voltage is the same in both countries: 220volts.
