Does anyone know if WIC in Calif. will cover Similac or Good Start?

My niece is living with me and has a one month old. His milk has been changed several times and has taken to the Similac Sensitive. Doc said if that doesnt work to try Good Start. Well does anyone out there know if WIC in California covers any of these two?

yes it covers both..

No, California only has Enfamil.  WIC will make you try all the Enfamil types such as soy, gentle, etc before it will even think about letting you try another brand.

it covers enfamil only unless you get a doctors note for something else.

i am not sure about califoria but in texas if you bring them a perscription for that formula they will give it to you my son has t have similac alimentum and thats what i did

It covers Enfamil. You could get a prescription or something, though.
