Does it really clean itself well? Can you only use Dulux specific paint for it?

  1. I was toying with this myself .

I nearly bought a "Paintrunner " a few weeks ago until I found out that you can't dilute the paint and couldn't save any surplus paint left in the tank.

Best thing would be to check it out somewhere like B&Q before you decide.

I've found over the years though that a lot of these so-called labour saving devices tend to be more trouble than they're worth and it's less effort to just work in the traditional way.

  2. i bought it when it cleans itself it doesnt clean itself completly so you have to wash it again anyways

  3. I've heard that they're a bit useless, gettitng clogged up and stuff.

  4. They are a waste of time and good money..They do not clean properly and you still have to sort it yourself..

Also you still have to do all the cutting in as normal so in reality you save very little time at all.

Stick to a scuttle, pole and a 12 inch roller and be a lot happier for it ..

  5. Waste of money.

Also, you have to use their paint which is a stupid price.

On the other hand, I wish I invented it because I would be a millionaire now. I don't think anyone in the trade would buy one, and if they did, boy would they get laughed at.

  6. yes not to bad,BUT,you can only use the paint that is designed for it,any other paint is to thick, you cant thin it because the other paint wont have the right pigment for the job,and its more expensive buying paint-pod paints, stick to a conventional roller, its much better.

  7. I wonder that every time I see the ad! Not a clue I'm afraid.
