  1. better question is where don't they live... they're stocked in many places to control vegetation in lakes..


  2. You'll find carp everywhere in the U.S. They're a very hardy and tenacious species, and once somebody introduces them to a body of water, you can never get rid of them.

  4. Steve is right. There are plenty of Carp here in many lakes and local canals. Go after the non-native species (grass carp) , these fish get huge and are alot of fun on light tackle. ~good luck catchin'.

  5. Yeah, there's some pretty big carp... Caught a 15-20 lb grass carp today.

    They're used for keeping lakes and ponds clean.
