Does anyone know if electric scooters (x-treme type) are legal on New Jersey roads?

In most cases, non-motorized vehicles are prohibited from being operated on streets and roadways.  And, there again in most cases, the vehicle would have to be capable of traveling at least 45 mph.  Check with your state's Department of Transportation regarding which vehicle can and cannot be used on a roadway.
