Ok. So i'm 14 and going to 9th grade and i'm taking the following:

Alegebra 1(i have to take it to get into Science honors 1)

Science honors 1

English honors 1

U.S. History honors 1

and i also have to take health and p.e.

my electives are drawing, business concepts, and driver's ed(taking it in the month of my b-day)

but i guess that doesn't matter...

my question is like how much studying is there for honor classes?

and is it TOO hard?

Jw... i want to be prepared.

  1. ok, honor classes are made for people who are better at school than some kids, so they only put you in the class if u are smart enough. So there shouldn't worry, if they put you in honor classes, it's because your meant to be in that! I have to say, honor is a little harder, but no so hard that it will drop a A to a D. Being in honors just means that you have to work a little harder.

  2. Really most of the times its the same material and the same textbooks but they want you to do alto more work and grading is a little different

  3. The only difference I've ever seen is they go slightly faster. Slightly. It's not that big of a deal but remember to turn in all of your work. Late work is rarely excepted. Teachers and school stuff try to make it look like its mission impossible but its not (as long as you give it all you've got). I've had more trouble opening up a can of beans.

  4. Honors classes are harder than regular classes, but not quite as challenging as GT (gifted and talented) classes. Of  course you have to study for all of your classes, 10 minutes of studying notes everynight should help you get it down and a little more if there's a test coming up. You should be fine good luck!
