Does anyone know if i can bring fresh lobster and crab back to canada from the U.S.?

am going away for a week to Plymouth MA and would really love to bring some lobster and crab back with me. Have tried looking through the border crossing web site and can't find the answer.

u can't cause the lobster or crab may have disease that it could give other animals and may cause problems and not to mention that you can get arrested for trying to bring in the crustations

no there is a thing called custumes an it is illegal

No because the lobsters could be drug smugglers from Colombia..

I tried looking and didn't find anything specific either. I did find these toll free numbers you can call and ask. You might also consider asking about bring back frozen lobster and crab. I suspect there would be less of a problem with frozen goods.

Actually,

You cannot personally bring them back across the border, but any accredited sea food shop will be able to ship them live to your home within a day or two.
