Does anyone know if i could install an '07 chevy cobalt oem radio into an '06 chevy cobalt?

  1. The wiring should be similar, but newer GM radios have an anti-theft system that identifies the VIN through the vehicle's data bus system.  If the radio is installed in a different car, the Theftlock system may prevent it from working.  In this case, you would need to have the radio re-programmed by a dealer.
