  1. If you mean changing seat 14A to 14D, yes you can do that without charge. You can switch to another seat as long as the seat is available.

If you booked it online, you can do it online. If you booked it with the airline direct, go to www.continental.com and pull up the seat map and see what is available, and call the airline and have them change to what you want.

    Regards,

    Dan

  2. Changing your seat is free.

However, some airlines consider some seats to be "premium seats" and charge more for them, so if you change from a non-premium seat to a premium one, then you would have to pay.

  3. i would think so, call the airline and see what's up.

  4. Shouldn't be a problem.  You should be able to change it online if you have an account on the Continental website.  If it's fixed, try to call an agent and have them change it.  As long as there are other seats available that haven't been assigned yet, you should be able to be re-assigned.

  5. I'm not sure where you booked it through, but when I booked my flights on Orbitz (on several different airlines), there was a chart that I could change my seat at no cost. It showed me all the open seats on the plane and I was able to pick which one I wanted. As long as you don't change the actual flight I don't see why it wouldn't be free.

I would contact customer service for whatever company you booked your flight through. They would be able to confirm it being free and let you know how to go about changing your seat!

    Hope this helps!
