Does anyone know if it's possible to actually make money on any of the "work at home" websites?

If so, could you give me a good site please?- One where i would not be paying any money of any sort, something legit.

I just got laid off from my job and i have been searching everywhere for another job. I have had no luck at all. Not even restaurants are hiring! I've sent my resume out to a thousand places... I have bills, so im wondering if this is a possibility??

One of the work at home websites is joining paid survey programs. If interested you can take up that but you cannot expect much from this type of works.

No, they are all scams.  If you stuff envelopes, for example, they may say you did not do as many as you said you did.  There are numerous ways that they get out of paying you. This is NOT a good way to make money ever, but especially if you need money quick.  

There are jobs, but truly, looking for work must be like a job, going out everyday as if going to work, putting in apps. and then writing a note thanking them for their time, and following up again to see if they need anyone. It takes time, but is so worth it, rather than wasting a month at a "work at home" and not getting paid.  Even being a person who gives tastes to consumers at Costco would beat this job.  Don't give up, just keep trying. The day you turn in an app might just be the day someone quit, and there YOU are, ready to be hired.  Good luck.  DON'T fall for scams.

I've been doing some work with www.elance.com the past week, all the work is home based, data entry, transcription etc. The only thing is you're competing against people from countries where the hourly rate of pay is a lot lower, so not sure if it would be worth it for you.

Its been updated today to include some Craft type jobs which can be done from home, mainly re-distribution, but it possible to make good money from it if you work hard.

So many online jobs are out there. In fact, to do any online job, you need not want to invest anything. Make sure, you dont pay anything to get jobs online. If you are willing to go outside the home, contact some doctors in your area, and then help senior citizens - you can definitely make serious money working OUT of your home.

This company gives NO COST arthritis kits to seniors on medicare. Medicare pays the total cost. Doctors refer LOTS of their patients to you for the kits.
