  1. In order to be a psychiatrist you have to go to medical school and get your M.D. If you're a psychologist with a master's you just can't prescribe medication. The whole point of being a psychiatrist and going to medical school is so you know how drugs interact with one another and the effects they have on the body/mind.

  2. No, that's impossible. You cannot become a psychiatrist without a medical degree. You can become a master's level clinician, but you wont be a psychologist without a degree (PhD or PsyD).

  3. As far as I know, no - because you need to be a qualified doctor to prescribe medicine and you'd be a poor psychiatrist if you could prescribe anything, given that's how they treat disorders.

You can do therapy (clinical psychology, psychotherapist) wiothout a medical degree, though
