Does anyone know if its ok for dogs to eat french fries?

I am a dog lover but I will only allow my dog to eat dog food because it is a lot healthier for him to than for him to eat people food.

Not as a basic diet!!!  The occasional one or two won't hurt although I don't like feeding mine potatoes, period.

1 won't hurt, but don't give them on a regular basis. The potato part is fine, but they're covered in grease and salt, which isn't good for a dog.

Yes, amount depends on how fat you want her and you should not call your wife a dog.

A four legged dog needs dog food Purina, Alpo or Pedigree and several others.

An occcasional one or two should not harm them.  However if you make a regular practice of feeding your dog FFs, that's another story.  FFs are loaded with fat and salt, neither is good for your dog or us for that matter.  Also feeding your dog human food increases his chances of pancretitis  and obesity.  So its better that you keep human food to a minimum.
