  1. plug adapter, dufus!

  2. http://debbiesreviews.proboards88.com/in...

lists what is available in each resort.

  3. Yes of course it will work. If your straightener is dual voltage, than all you'll need is an adapter as flat prong plugs are used at most of the resorts...

If you need to take both converter and adapter, then do so to be on the safe side.

Check where you will be staying for their voltage/plug use.

    Electrical equipment

Cuba’s electricity is 110 volts, 60Hz, but most hotels and resorts have 220 volts. Electrical outlets take flat plug prongs. If you’re bringing an electrical appliance, check before you leave to see if you need an adaptor or converter.
