Does anyone know if on the LG Dare you can delay the sending of a txt message like 4-5 hours or watever?

No, but you can send it later.

There doesn't seem to be a way to send it out automatically.  The best you can do is write out the text and save in the draft folder.  But then you have to manually send it when you want it to go out.  Sorry.  You could try searching around http://www.lg-dare.com for more questions.  They help me out every time and its specific to the dare.
