  1. no seats have obstructed veiw at the joe because it goes out really far. it may be hard to see cuz of the distance though. the only way you would be obstructed is if you were sitting behind Yhao Ming

  2. No, the way the Joe Louis Arena is structured, there really are no bad seats.  I'll admit that you'll be up pretty high, but at least you'll be there, right?

  3. There are no obstructed view, unless you're rooting for Pittsburgh.  You will have Detroit fans standing in front of you, to the side of you, and besides you, blocking your voice and view.  No, just kidding, however, again there are NO OBSTRUCTED view seats at the JOE.  Those that are sitting in the upper bowl (200's) depending how high will just be a bit far away.  The sound of the puck will be heard a split second after it is struck, that's all.  The place is sold out regardless of how many seats are not used, because people will buy them up until the drop of the puck, if not sold out before that.  There are a couple of clubs, such as the OLYMPIA CLUB and new Champions Club where people (the wealthy) will be hanging out watching.  It always looks like there are empty seats, but come on people, THIS IS HOCKEYTOWN!

    LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!

You'll be hearing that all night and series for that matter...

  4. If checking on tickets you are planning to buy, check out as many sights as possible I found lowers for the same price as some of the upper sections.

To answer your question , I would use seatdata.com, it really wont be from your seat but it will give you a genaral idea.

  5. it isn't.
