Does anyone know if the Bastille is still in existance?

Just wondering if the Bastille prison was still up outside of Paris, or if it has been torn down since it's infamous involvment with the French Revolution. If anyone knows the directions to get to it that would be awesome.

It was torn down.

After the storming of the Bastille on the 14th of July 1789, demolition of the building began almost immediately and was more or less completed by November, 1789.

The prison didn't exist anymore, but you can find a column in Place de la Bastille and the new Opera House, called La Bastille.

It's pretty much gone but you can visit the outline of the fort as well as the remaining parts of one tower...
