Does anyone know if the CECT P168++ can handle Java apps that connect to the Internet like www.mgmaps.com/ or google maps, or apps that have to connect to the internet?

  1. No, it does still not support Java, but it is a great phone. I will buy one in next days.


  2. I have the P168++ and it DOES have Java. I have installed a couple of simple games on it.

    I will try to locate the progs that you mention and report back.

    OK.....Just installed mgmaps .... no problem installing....it asked to connect to the internet and then I get a message saying that the program was using 'critical' resources and I should terminate it....so I did.

    The P168++ will not run mgmaps.

  3. NO, you need the d990i sciphone w/ java ... this is the only iclone with java...
