Does anyone know if the Late Princess Diana was ever smacked as a Child?

I know she use to smack Prince William when he misbehaved. So what about herself.

British aristocrats have always had `nannys` to take care of  the everyday business of their up-bring, as opposed to it being  solely the parents responsibility. The `nanny school training` in the past did include the use of `corporal` punishment for their little charges when considered necessary.Thank heavens` it is now illegal for people in the U.K. to to smack  small children. As for Princess Di and her sons, the law arrived too late to to protect them, if indeed they did need protection.

I am sure she never raised a hand to either of those boys. More than likely, she had a little paddling now and then growing up. Everyone did back then. Don't say bad things about her. She was good to those boys. I do wish she'd smacked Charles a time or two though.

Out of all the specials I've watched the past month... I never heard anything about her being hit (as you put it)... she was however, made to feel not wanted... because she was the 3rd girl!

Of course, 99.9% parents will "smack" a child slightly if they're misbehaving... because it's usually the only way you can get their attention... when they're little. (Again, I said SLIGHTLY... I'm not talking about really hard smacks.)

I don't think I ever heard she smacked Prince William. If it was, I'm sure it was nothing major.
