  1. As far I know, any T.V. can play back a Blu-ray disc from a Blu-ray player. If you're asking about the Hi-Def functionality, it does have 1080p Full HD Display. See link for additional info.

  2. ALL HD TVs support Blu-ray. Since this TV is 1080p, you can watch Blu-ray at its full resolution. Just make sure that when you do the initial set-up on the DVD player, you pick 1080p as a resolution.

  3. Any tv will support blu ray or hd dvd players. All they are are just dvd players. As long as your tv has the right connection aka basic rca then you can get a picture. The dis advantage is unless you connect with component cables or hdmi, you wont get the best picture possible. Basic Rca will only give you a 480i image just about all blu ray players are a 1080p resolution. This means that unless the tv supports 1080p, then your only limiting yourself to the picture you can have on it however it will still work.

  4. Of course and it will look fantastic. Toshiba makes a great LCD. Furthermore Blu-Ray has just WON the format war because Warner has just announced exclusivity with BLU-RAY. Good Choice and Bravo!
