Does anyone know if the melia hotel in cayo coco cuba has been affected my hurricane gustav?? ?

No, your hotel was not affected by the hurricane. I was just in contact with friends that work at Tryp Cayo Coco (next to Melia) and there was no mention of any damages. The hurricane hit Pinar del Río which is on the western tip. Cayo Coco (Ciego de Ávila) only got heavy rains.

So everything is fine.
