Does anyone know if the quality of televisions is lower at costco?

I was shopping at a chain store and the salesman told me prices are cheaper at warehouse stores because they use "B" stock items. any chance thats true?

No. They have the same brands as every other store. Shop by brand not by store.

lol, the quality is fine.  Don't listen to salesmen, they get a commission.  So they're going to tell you anything so you'll buy from them.

no the quality is just as good as in any proffesional store, they just sell it for cheaper

I know Wal-Mart does this, but I can only guess that Cosco does as well.

That's not true. Costco carries the same quality televisions as you would buy from any name brand electronics stores. I bought two lcd tv's from there and never had any problems.

NO the Sales man is going to say they are so he can get his Commission if you buy it from him. The product you get from BEST BUT and Costco are the same..  The guy was trying to make A sale...$$$$  makes the sales man happy....

I've never heard that about Costco. I think their stuff is great quality.

If you were shopping somewhere else it would make sense they would tell you something negative about another store though. Don't believe a word salesmen tell you, he's just trying to make a quick buck.

No the tv's are fine and there is really no difference that one can really tell. Mainly the other companies sell sony's and toshiba's and stuff. But to be honest the vizios and other tv's at costco are the same and there is no considerable difference that the eye can see.

The only way to be sure is to check the model numbers.  Often "discount" retailers will offer very similar model numbers, simply with a letter appended to the end, this is a sure fire sign that it is an inferior model.  This checking of model numbers is the only sure fire way to ensure you are getting a quality product.
