Does anyone know if there are any Florida Bennigans Restaurants still open?

We have a gift certificate for Bennigans, but unfortunately we haven't been able to find a Bennigans in the Orlando area still open.

The one in Tampa at Channelside is open.  They are a franchise. Here are the directions from I-4

• Take Downtown East (22nd and 21st Street) Exit 1;left on 21st Street to Palm Avenue; right on Palm to Nick Nuccio to Channelside Drive; left on Channelside to parking garage.

The company that owns them filed for bankruptcy and all of them closed.  Sooo.... no... no open ones.... anywhere.

I know the one in Ocala is still open. On silver springs blvd.

I'm in Orlando and just found out about the Bennigans closings today. I did a bit of digging and apparantly the company only closed the corporate Bennigans locations. So, any and all franchise locations are still open. The Orlando Sentinel indicated that the Bennigans near Lake Buena Vista (which according to Mapquest looks to be past Dowtown Disney, towards the Premium Outlets, across from the Bahama Breeze there) is still open. The Sentinel also claimed that a location in Kissimmee is still open as well (though I didn't dig for that location). So far, those two seem to be the only Bennigans open in the immediate Orlando area.

For my part, I'm glad we've still got two locations open, 'cause I love their 'Monte Cristo' sandwich!!
