All areas of Australia  are under the Health Dept.  regulations.

Your local  govt.  has to abide by these regulations ... and most have a fee   and generally  a  guideline  of  their  "preferred" method  in  their  area.    Ring  the  building  dept.  of  Tamworth  council  and  they  will put  you  straight .....  

  An  application  for  a  waste water treatment plant  will be required,  this  involves:  plans  and specifications  for  the  treatment  method  you are proposing,  (usually supplied by  the  installer ).  If  you  intend  to  attempt  it  yourself  then  be  prepared  for  a  steep learning  curve  and  you  have to have a licence to do that.  

Under  the  Health dept.  ruling  they can only be installed  by a person / company  holding  a licence from  the dept of fair trading.      hope this is helpful  to you.
