Does anyone know if there are weight restrictions on any of the Gold Coast theme park rides?

taking someone to the themeparks and she is a large lady. Just want to prevent any embarrasment to her when she tries to get on the rollercoasters or other rides at Dreamworld, Seaworld and MovieWorld.

  1. Well large can mean 7 ft tall....or it can mean 6ft and 350lbs.

    Now I think the weight limit on most rides is around 350lbs. I would just go there expecting her to not get on most rides, just because parks are looking out for safety before anything else. Just tell the person to start losing weight before you go to the parks....or something.

    If it comes down to it, you can have her sue the park for discrimination. Since suing and obesity seem to be growing more and more in America (no pun intended)


  2. Like other amusement parks they probably don't have weight restrictions but have size restrictions. There should be something at the entrance to the line stating such a restriction, or ask the employee standing at the entrance about any size restrictions. In any event GO and have a good time....... Don't let your size bring you down, theres plenty of rides you can go on....
