Does anyone know if there is a bug with green lights?

yesterday i was sleeping and i saw a green light move from one side of my wall to the other and i was really scared but i think it might of been a bug or something.

lightning bug... firefly (if there's a difference, I don't know it)... here's the Wikipedia site for them:
