Does anyone know if there is a distance of how far the non custodial parent can take the child away from home?

i am the sole parent of my 18 month old son, is there a distance of how far the father can take my child away from home, if anyone knows please let me know

I believe both parents have to come to an agreement and be put on paper. But check with your lawyer.

Check with an attorney or local judge, or whomever decided your case.

That should all be spelled out in your custody arrangement. If its not then get ahold of your lawyer and double-check. My BF's says he cannot take his son out of state without notifying his ex and vice versa. I think it varies from agreement to agreement.
