He contacted me by yahoo im and said he was living in London, and from New Hamsted and has an island in Africa, have'nt heard form this person for a while then got an email saying he was killed in an accident, need to know if anyone has any info about this please reply.

An e-mail from whom?  Do you have any mutual friends?  if not, then who would think to send you an e-mail about his death?

I think that someone is messing with you.

How would the bank know that you knew him?  It is a trick to get your bank account number so that they can steal your money.
