Does anyone know if there is a train that will take you to Mexico City from Mexicalli? If so how long does it take? I have searched the net and cant seem to find a straight answer...Thanks

There`s no train, just bus

Here you can find the different buses that you can take

But think tath Transportes y Autobuses del pacífico is better but you will make more than a day, in this page you can look the price more or less 1550 and the hours that you will make. Origen= Mexicali, Destino= México norte, choose the date.

So I think is better by plane `cause look the itinerary:

MEXICALI - SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO

SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO - SONOYTA

SONOYTA - CABORCA

CABORCA - HERMOSILLO

HERMOSILLO - OBREGON

OBREGON - LOS MOCHIS

LOS MOCHIS - GUASAVE

GUASAVE - GUAMUCHIL

GUAMUCHIL - CULIACAN

CULIACAN - CULIACAN LEY DEL VALLE

CULIACAN LEY DEL VALLE - MAZATLAN

MAZATLAN - p***s

p***s - TEPIC

TEPIC - GUAD TERMINAL ZAPOPAN

GUAD TERMINAL ZAPOPAN - MEXICO NORTE

And you will make just 5 hours and not more than 36!!!

No such train service.

My suggestion: fly.

Otherwise it's a rather long trip and you'll have to change buses and use the ferry.
