Does anyone know if there is any similarity between present day and The Great Depression of the 30 and 40's?

yeah, it's a kind of similarity that exists between coke-and-menthos fountaint and the yellowstone Geyser. Looks the same, but scale is different.

Also, Great Depression was in 20's and 30's.

They are quite the same. Money is being wasted everyday in this country, The national "BILL" is growing like a weed. We cannot keep adding debt to this country without something happening. I believe in the next few years we will be in the next Great Depression. I also believe it will be worse because now a days, people do not know how to do anything. They will also panic (much like the last Depression), I mean, in our country people believe you will get mad cow disease just by looking at a cow. Nation wide panic spreads very fast, and in the long run, our country will be as it was in 1929.
