  1. there are dolphns in spanish waters.  there are so many places on the costa del sol.  not too sure about seeing with them though, you can see them on a boat.  try gibraltar, they have places that do it, as well as marbella and fuengirola

  2. I have a friend who has a boat near Marbella (Costa Del Sol) and we went out last summer and saw lots of dolphins. There are companies that offer dolphin trips in Cabopino - between Marbella and Fuengirola, but they don't guarantee that you will spot any dolphins on the trips.

  3. I know there are dolphins at Mundomar at Benidorm. Don't know if you can swim with them now - my daughter in law did some years back. Look online about this. Also saw that somebody said there are no dolphins in Spain. Well, off Tenerife and Gran Canaria (still spanish) you can go out in a boat and see them swimming naturally. We saw about 50 dolphins in a group, amazing. The next year we went and saw whales swimming naturally. I live in Spain near Alicante and don't think they swim in the Med near here or haven't heard of it, but could be wrong. Try Terra Mittica at Benidorm as well.

  4. There are no places that I know of that you can actually swim with dolphins in Spain, but along the southern coast of Spain you can go for boat trips out to see them.

Here are just a few places but you should be able to go from  many other other areas as well.

    Gibralta

    Puerto Banus

    Fuengirola

    Benalmadena

This park puts on some spectacular shows if you are near to Madrid

  5. There are no dolphins in Spanish waters. You should try the neighbour, Portugal, eg., Azores, where there are plenty of dolphins in those atlantic waters.

  6. The sea is probably a better bet than a swimming pool.

  7. hi , this sounds like an amazing experience u want to pursue try going onto a spanish website and finding info numbers u can ring . ask jeeves is great just type spain and a load of pages should come up good luck hope u fulfil ur dream x

  8. I've just tried to check this out on Yahoo Spain and I am afraid we don't seem to have anywhere that you can do this. Terra Natura in Benidorm (where I live) you can swim with sharks (they are only small).

I swam with dolphins in the Dominican Republic, well actually, I don't swim and am a little afraid of the water but they put a life jacket on you and so you basically float. You must remove all jewellery so that you don't damage the dolphins skin. It is like touching velvet, very soft and smooth. When I had to hold onto the fins of 2 dolphins and they swim across the pool dragging you along it was the best experience of my life. Also it wasn't expensive there as I know in Florida etc it can be.

Good luck you will 100% enjoy it.

  9. Try the dolphinarium in Valencia.

  10. swimming is illegal in Spain, however you might be able to find people to take you out . plus they don't stay still so unless you find a huge group by the time you get in they're gone

you arn't guaranteed to see them

the main places for them are

    Benalmadena

    Estapona ( where i worked )

    Gibralter

    What is lunatamp talkin about

  11. i think there`s`s a theme park in or just outside of benidorm. we saw dolphins there but I'm not sure if u can swim with them.there were baby dolphins there only a few days old so the pools were restricted.

  12. Think you can on the Costa Del Sol remember seeing it advertised on directline-holidays.co.uk  web site good luck
