Does anyone know if there is financial aid available for preschool in Alabama or nationwide?

I want to send my son to preschool because he'll be 4 this summer. We make too much for headstart but not enought to afford to send him to a preschool. I am looking for infor or programs on preschools in Alabama or financial aid that is nationwide.

  1. Look into private preschools that have a financial aid package.  In additon, try church preschools.  They tend to be cheaper than other schools.  Also, try the public schools.  They run preschools to meet the needs of children who received Early Intervention, but the programs are integrated so they take a limited number of "peer buddies" who didn't have delayed development.  The programs are usually really good, and your son will get an extra education in tolerance.  If your child gets in, you won't have to pay because it's public school.  You can find out about it by calling your local school district.  Good luck!


  2. head start is a great place for pre-k like the guy said thier a one at alabama for sure.

  4. Head Start will take children that are over income, so apply you never know. If your local High school has a tech center they might have free preschool. The Boys and Girls club might also offer free preschool.
