Does anyone know if there will be a season 2 of Generation Kill?

i been wanting to know if there will be a season 2 of the show generation kill if anyone knows please let me know on this following email... [e-mail]

The movie was based on a book and rolling stones article written by the guy you saw with them the whole time (thats not the actual guy but a re enactment, Rudy plays himself in the movie though) so when that guy leaves the story was over. It really was a great series and I really wish they would keep going but if they have nothing to go off of I dont see a point.

I doubt it.  It is a mini series based on the book by the same name.
