I'm going to take a shot in the dark and assume you're talking about Twilight, or some similar thing. The answer is the same regardless: If the first movie sells well enough, they'll continue making them. But many series, such as His Dark Materials and A Series of Unfortunate Events, were not considered profitable enough to make more expensive sequels.

You know, if you're talking about Twilight (or really any other book series, for that matter), they aren't the ONLY books written, so you really should specify and just not assume that we know what you're talking about.

I mean, you could be talking about Twilight, His Dark Materials, Cirque du Freak, A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Books of Ember.....

i take it that you're talking about twilight.. but they probably will, because some of the actors and actresses are already signing contracts
