  1. it is only a certain number of holes specified during round  . maybe holes 1 and 7  12 and17  you could hit big on one hole if not one of holes used that round . does not count . par 3 not include at all  10 holes may not count  that is why you see men  315 yards in fairway , only average 280 because he may not use driver on one of the measured holes

  2. No, only par 4s and 5s.  I don't have a source, but I'd bet my Titleist driver and a dozen ProV1x on it.

  3. They choose two holes per course.  The two holes go in opposite directions preferably and are holes where most players will hit drivers.  These are the only two holes used in driving distance stats.

  4. In actuality they have one hole downwind, and one into the wind that they actually measure. Now with shotlink, it's different but that's why it's only Average.

  5. Na i dnt think it would because its nt really there furtherest drive on a par 3. Theyd only stat it for par 4's and 5's when they use there drivers and are intenionaly hitting it as far as they can.

  6. No they don't.

  7. no they dont.they only count the greens in regulation.i am a 2.3 handicaper.i already one 4 major tournaments

  8. Par 3 tee shots falls under the approach shot category, so it does not count for driving distance.

  9. No

  10. No, and once you think about it then you will feel a little foolish asking the question.

  11. At tournaments, they measure driving distance on a couple of the longer holes per round.  No par 3's are included.

  12. No they don't. Only par 4s and 5s.
