Can it really be beneficial for families if they buy health insurance from them? I checked their website, but would like to know from people who have used their services.

  1. I looked at their website, too.  If you're looking at what they cover, that's your mistake - look at how much they pay.  They have severe dollar limits on coverages.  Exactly how far do you think $3,000 will go, when it comes to surgery?  Or $150, when it comes to an office visit?  That's ONE doctor visit, per year.  That's what they cover.  WOW.  Don't get sick.

Honestly, I'm not a proponent of discount plans, but you'd probably save more money with a discount plan.  And if you're looking for super low cost, and don't need insurance, you might want to check out http://medi-share.org/

  2. It's better than a discount plan, but not by much.  They give you, depending on the plan, a flat amount for different services.  So, let's assume they give you $500/day in a hospital that might sound "pretty good," but think about what would happen if you were there for a week and the actual cost was $4,500/day.

You better off buying a plan that a free can of Orange Glo (sarcasm) doesn't come with it.

I understand the putty he sells to fix a tea cup is pretty good though.

Check out real insurance with the tool on my site that requires no personal information.
