I was recently at a cookout where they had used these in a salad and now i am hooked. With colder weather coming in the next couple of months I thought about growing them indoors. Does anyone know if this will work?

  1. I'd say you would do better outside as tomatos ripen in the sun.

  2. Yeah. Get a good grow light. Get'em at Home Depot or Lowes  or where ever. Keep it on them all day. If you can get them as much natural light as possible too.

  3. It is unlikely you will be able to grow tomatoes inside and get them to ripen. They need a fairly long daily exposure to sunshine, and you probably won't be able to provide that in the winter. Even if you got them to grow and ripen you will be disappointed in the flavor. Indoor tomatoes taste nothing like sun-ripened outdoor tomatoes.
