  1. Sure they get all the goodies, Cable TV, delivered pizza, Ho's, Sauna baths, and a good pay check.

  2. Definitely.  You can also get a lap top, take out menus, and online shopping accounts to order stuff from.  Enjoy!

Dude, think about it.  If you are entitled to one phone call a week, collect, they aren't letting you use a cell phone.

  3. No jail in the United States, especially Texas, allows inmates to possess cell phones, although some inmates manage to have them smuggled in.  I have had clients charged with possessing them prosecuted as felons for possession of contraband, which really screws up whatever criminal charges the inmate is already facing and can lead to placement in solitary confinement, having his good time rescinded, and transfer to a more secure facility.  Absolutely under no circumstances should an inmate be possessing a cell phone.

  4. nope. regardless of where you are an inmate, they take whatever personal possessions you had with you when you were arrested (cell phone, wallet, keys, etc) and lock it up. They don't give it back to you until you're released.

I'm guessing you never received a collect call from a jail then...

  5. Nope.

  6. No they can not have that. Its considerd  counter ban

  7. I am in the county just south of Bell County and as far as I am aware there are no cell phones allowed there or any county jail for that matter.

  8. He's not being confined to his room by his mother...........

    The answer would be no..........
