Does anyone know if you need qualifacations to work with children in a kindergarden/preschool?

I am 18 and want to get a job with children. Does anyone know if you need any qualifacations to work with children in a kindergarden in South Australia? (apart from police check, mandatory reporting and first aid cert) If so, what qualifacations are needed as i do not have any.

Montessory course certificate is a requisite, but based on your aptitude and enthusiasm (and way with children!), the private institutions like 'DayCare' and 'NurserySchools', may take you in ; there is always the need for fresh faces and a lot of energy in this sector! good luck!
