I know their is natural gas. just wandering if i should go out in my woods and hunt for gold!

  1. Monroe County, WV was the site of the 1928 discovery of the 34.48 carat (6.896 g) Jones Diamond by Grover C. Jones and his son, William "Punch" Jones.  

    Anytime there are mountains or hills, there is a possibility of valuable minerals to be found.  I would not get my hopes up, however.
